Father, daughter murdered<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Local residents in Jelambar Baru, Tanjung Duren area,
\nWest Jakarta, found a man and his daughter dead, their bodies
\ncovered in wounds, inside their fire-ravaged house in the early
\nhours of Friday.<\/p>\n
City Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Anton Bachrul Alam said that
\nresidents found the victims, Sofyan Setiawan, 73, and his
\ndaughter Yuliana, 31, after they managed to put out the fire that
\ngutted the house on Jl. S. No 18.<\/p>\n
Sofyan was found dead in the living room with at least 10 stab
\nwounds to his chest. His mouth, feet and hands had been tied with
\nadhesive tape.<\/p>\n
Yuliana, who planned to get married next month, was found by
\nthe neighbors lying inside her room, her mouth, feet and hands
\nalso tied with adhesive tape.<\/p>\n
Sofyan's wife had reportedly left the house at 5 a.m. for a
\nmorning aerobics session in the Grogol area.<\/p>\n
\"She said there was nothing wrong when she left the house,\"
\nAnton said.<\/p>\n
Police suspected revenge as a motive rather than robbery, as
