A man who went viral for dancing in a kitchen associated with the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme has faced severe backlash after claiming a daily government incentive of Rp6 million. The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) expressed deep disappointment, suspended his operational SPPG unit due to non-compliance with technical guidelines including improper kitchen layout and wastewater treatment, and issued a stern reprimand. BGN emphasised that the MBG initiative is not a business venture but aimed at educating the nation's children, with the remaining six SPPG units under his ownership yet to operate and now under strict monitoring.

A man who became viral for dancing in the Nutrition Fulfilment
Service Unit (SPPG) has drawn condemnation. His actions recently went
viral on social media, partly because he claimed to receive an incentive
of Rp6 million per day from the government. In one video, the man is
seen dancing to music in a room with the BGN logo. Another video shows
him dancing in a kitchen without proper personal protective equipment.
Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Nanik S. Deyang, expressed
regret over the man’s actions. She admitted to being disappointed with
the man, who is a partner owning the SPPG. “Clearly, we are very
regretful and disappointed with the partner’s attitude like that,” Nanik
said. Nanik stated that BGN has monitored the man’s SPPG and temporarily
frozen (suspended) it. The man’s SPPG did not comply with technical
guidelines after being checked by BGN. “Coincidentally, after checking
the kitchen, it turned out the layout was wrong and the IPAL (Wastewater
Treatment Installation) was not correct, so we suspended it,” she said.
In addition, Nanik said she had assigned the Director of Monitoring and
Supervision of BGN to meet the man and give him a stern reprimand. “I
just called Brigjen Doni Dewantoro, Director of Tauwas Region II, he has
met and reprimanded him sternly,” Nanik said. It was later revealed that
the man owns seven Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) kitchens or SPPGs. Nanik
said the other six SPPGs owned by the man are not yet operational and
will be strictly monitored by BGN during the establishment process until
implementation. “So I remember he said he got seven kitchens, seven
points. But only one is running that has started. The others are not
yet, not running,” she said. Nanik reminded that owning an SPPG is not a
business project. She emphasised that the essence of MBG is to educate
the nation’s children.
",
