Fashion Center to open<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Trade and Industry Mohamad \"Bob\"
\nHasan and Canadian ambassador Gary J. Smith will officially
\ninaugurate the Indotex LaSalle Documentation Center of Indonesian
\nFashion here tomorrow at the LaSalle International College,
\nGedung Pusat Niaga, Central Jakarta.<\/p>\n
The center is a complete reference center for the Indonesian
\ntextile, garment and fashion industry, a statement from the
\ncollege said.<\/p>\n
\"The center will not only be a useful information source for
\nstudents at the LaSalle International College but for all
\ninvolved in fashion design and marketing,\" Smith said.<\/p>\n
Consisting of a research center, an IBM Internet Center and
\nthe Dupont Fabric Room-Lycra Innovation Center, the documentation
\ncenter houses a library of material on fashion, textiles, design
\nand business administration. It also includes a comprehensive
\ncollection of current fabrics by knitting, weaving and textile
\nproducers from across the country.<\/p>\n
The college is a collaboration between the Indonesian Textile
\nAssociation, the Canadian-based LaSalle College Group and the
