Faldo, Langer will battle at Masters<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): World beaters in golf, England's Nick Faldo and
\nBernhard Langer of Germany will lead a pack of 120 players, vying
\nfor the top honor in the Alfred Dunhill Masters at the Emerald
\nOne layout in November.<\/p>\n
World number three Faldo and his number five counterpart will
\nbe the two world class golfers to watch at the US$400,000
\ntournament. They will be among a field of 120 players, including
\n40 of the best Asian golfers and leading professionals from the
\nPGA Australasian Tour, in the fray for a four-day event at the
\nnewly established par-72 golf link located some 25km southeast of
\nJakarta.<\/p>\n
The $400,000, in cash prizes, up for grabs is an increase of
\n$55,000 over last year's inaugural Alfred Dunhill Masters held in
\nBali.<\/p>\n
\"We are delighted to be bringing the event to Jakarta and are
\nconfident that the fine players expected to take part will ensure
\nthat the tournament will be the highlight of the golfing year not
\nonly in Indonesia but also in Asia,\" Richard Cole, Managing
\nDirector of Alfred Dunhill Pacific Region, said.<\/p>\n
The $400,000 cash prizes is the largest on offer in
\nIndonesia's pro golf history and proves to be one of the most
\nexciting golf tournament ever seen in the country.<\/p>\n
\"We are delighted to be returning to Indonesia, this time to
\nthe exciting city of Jakarta,\" Jacqualine Lane, the company's
\nRegional Marketing Director, said.<\/p>\n
This, he added, is a major event on the international golfing
\ncalender and certainly one of the most important golf events in
\nAsia.<\/p>\n
The tournament, to be held Nov. 2 to Nov. 5, will be jointly
\nsanctioned by Indonesia Golf Association and the PGA Australasian
