        "content": "<p>A joint investigation by the Police\u2019s Corruption Eradication Corps\n(Kortastipidkor) and the Metro Jaya Police\u2019s Special Criminal\nInvestigation Directorate continues to develop. In an operation related\nto three suspected corruption and money laundering (TPPU) cases,\ninvestigators raided at least eight different locations and seized\nvarious items of evidence of significant value. The searches, conducted\non Wednesday, 8 July 2026, targeted not only Cafe de\u2019CLAN Signature and\nKoin Money Changer in the Cipete area of South Jakarta, but also several\nother locations in the Pacific Place, Kuningan, Sudirman, and Bogor\nareas. Head of Kortastipidkor, Inspector General Totok Suharyanto,\nexplained that the searches were part of a joint investigation scheme\nwith the Metro Jaya Police\u2019s Special Criminal Investigation Directorate\nto handle the corruption and money laundering cases. The searches were\ncarried out simultaneously at eight points to fulfil the need for\nevidence in the investigation process. Metro Jaya Police spokesperson,\nCommissioner Budi Hermanto, stated that most of the locations were in\nJakarta, with around four to five points in South Jakarta, including\nPacific Place, Kuningan, and Sudirman, with the operation extending to\nthe Bogor area. In the course of the investigation, police also searched\nthe home of a state official. However, the official\u2019s identity and their\nconnection to the case have not yet been disclosed.
