        "content": "<p>Facts about the Man Who Claimed to be an Official and Assaulted 3\nPetrol Station Attendants in Jakarta<\/p>\n<p>Three petrol station attendants in Cipinang, Pulogadung, East\nJakarta, became victims of an assault by a man who claimed to be an\nofficial, identified as JMH, who became enraged because he was not given\nhis share of subsidized Pertalite fuel.<\/p>\n<p>The perpetrator was successfully apprehended by a joint team from the\nCriminal Investigation Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police and the\nCriminal Investigation Unit of the Pulogadung Police in the Rawalumbu\narea, East Bekasi, on Tuesday (February 24).<\/p>\n<p>CNNIndonesia.com has compiled several facts related to the assault on\nthe petrol station attendants, as follows:<\/p>\n<p>The perpetrator is not an official.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, there were reports that the perpetrator was an official.\nHowever, after further investigation, the police confirmed that the\nperpetrator was a civilian who works as an entrepreneur.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe perpetrator has been secured and it has been confirmed that he\nis not a member of the National Police,\u201d said the Head of Public\nRelations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Budi Hermanto, in a\nstatement on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Chief of the East Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner\nAlfian Nurrizal, stated that the perpetrator, identified as JMH, is a\nrental worker. However, Alfian has not provided further details about\nthe perpetrator\u2019s job.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe perpetrator, JMH (31), has been confirmed not to be a member of\nthe National Police, but rather a rental worker,\u201d he said on Wednesday\n(February 25).<\/p>\n<p>Using fake license plates<\/p>\n<p>During the assault, the perpetrator was also found to be using a\nvehicle registration number plate (TNKB) that did not match the vehicle,\ni.e., a fake license plate.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the photos received, the license plate used by the\nperpetrator was L-1-XD.
