        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)\nsuggests that former Vice Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel\nEbenezer, commonly known as Noel, should focus more on following the\ntrial process for the alleged extortion case in K3 certification\nprocessing at the Ministry of Manpower, without external opinions\noutside the framework of the case.<\/p>\n<p>This statement was made by KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in response\nto Noel\u2019s claim that he will sue the anti-corruption commission for\ndamages amounting to Rp 300 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKPK certainly hopes that the individual in question focuses more on\nattending the trial, more focused within the trial forum itself so that\nthe ongoing legal process can be clearer without opinions that are then\nbuilt outside the framework of the case,\u201d said Budi at the Merah Putih\nBuilding, Jakarta, on Wednesday (29\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf course, we are convinced that the roles carried out by the\nrelevant parties related to the modus operandi of the alleged extortion\nagainst the public who are processing K3 certification are proven by the\nfacts revealed in the investigation process,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, former Vice Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel\nEbenezer claimed he would soon sue the Corruption Eradication Commission\n(KPK) civilly and criminally for compensation of Rp 300 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will sue the KPK, yes. Our lawsuit is not half-hearted. We will\nsue the KPK for Rp 300 trillion,\u201d said Noel, his familiar nickname, at\nthe Jakarta Corruption Court, on Wednesday (29\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Noel said he has suffered significant losses after being named a\nsuspect in the alleged corruption extortion case for occupational safety\nand health (K3) certification processing at the Ministry of\nManpower.<\/p>\n<p>However, according to him, the witnesses presented in the trial did\nnot state otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have suffered immaterial losses. Because so far, it has been\norchestrated that the extortion results of Immanuel are dozens of cars,\nthen hundreds of billions, then many other things that are framed to me,\nand that will be the material for my lawsuit,\u201d said Noel.<\/p>\n<p>He also emphasised that if the lawsuit is granted in the future, the\nRp 300 trillion he receives will be given to the workers, not for his\npersonal needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd the Rp 300 trillion will be given to fellow workers and those\nseeking justice.
