        "content": "<p>The reported losses from digital fraud from November 2024 to the end\nof 2025 are estimated at Rp9 trillion, with more than 411,000 reports.\nFraud is viewed as having impacts beyond material loss, with security,\nreputation, and even life expectancy undermined. To prevent such fraud,\na narrative exhibition titled \u2018Faces of Fraud\u2019 is being held. Through\nthis initiative, five individuals behind digital fraud stories bravely\nshare their experiences as part of a public education movement and a\ncollective effort to eradicate digital fraud. Niki Luhur, Founder and\nGroup CEO of VIDA, hopes that the experiences endured by these people\nend with them and are not repeated for more people. By opening a space\nfor conversation in a more honest and humane way, Faces of Fraud also\nraises public awareness of fraud modalities that are becoming\nincreasingly sophisticated, from psychological manipulation (social\nengineering) to account takeovers. \u201cEach face in Faces of Fraud\nrepresents someone who once trusted the identity security system, but\nwas not protected from the gaps that exist.
