He assessed that, compared to the situation at the start of the war\nseveral weeks ago, the United States\u2019 position has now changed. At that\ntime, Trump was said to be optimistic about winning the war quickly.<\/p>\n
\u201cDonald Trump told his allies, I don\u2019t need your help. But far from\nit, now he seems desperate; there appears to be chaos inside the White\nHouse,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
Doyle also highlighted the internal dynamics of the US military,\nincluding Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth\u2019s move to dismiss several\ngenerals, including Army Chief of Staff Randy George.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe see the Pentagon under Hegseth; he is firing the generals. It\nseems American leadership cannot control what is happening,\u201d Doyle\nsaid.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, he explained that in many Middle East conflicts, the\nUnited States often expands its military objectives beyond the initial\ntargets. However, in the case of Iran, this pattern is not occurring\nconsistently.<\/p>\n
Initially, according to Doyle, the Trump administration had an agenda\nfor regime change in Iran. But over time, that objective appears to have\nshifted.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow we see Trump and others saying, Oh no, we are not going to do\nregime change,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Doyle assessed that the US strategy currently lacks a clear\ndirection. In contrast, Iran is seen as more measured in determining its\nsteps.<\/p>\n
\u201cIran can escalate at will and expand the conflict when needed, as we\nhave seen, for example, with the recent Houthi missile attacks on\nIsrael,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Iran claims to have shot down two US military aircraft on\nFriday (3\/4), namely the F-15 fighter jet and the A-10 Warthog. The F-15\nreportedly crashed in southwestern Iran, while the A-10 was shot down\nnear the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n
The A-10 pilot was reported to be safe. However, the fate of one of\nthe F-15 crew members remains unknown.<\/p>\n
Several US media outlets reported that one F-15 crew member has been\nfound and rescued, while the other is still being searched for.<\/p>\n
President Donald Trump has confirmed the incident and emphasised that\nit will not affect the negotiation process with Iran.<\/p>\n
