Jakarta (ANTARA) – Samsung’s next-generation Exynos 2700 chipset has
reportedly delivered performance up to 20 per cent better than
Qualcomm’s latest chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.

According to a GSM Arena report on Monday (26 October), the Exynos
2700, expected to power some Samsung Galaxy S27 Series smartphone models
early next year, scored around 13,000 in the Geekbench 6.5 multi-core
test.

That result exceeds the approximately 11,000 score recorded by the
Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, which is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme
Gen 6.

In the Geekbench 7.0 test, the Exynos 2700 was also around 15 per
cent faster. Compared with the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in the
Xiaomi 18 Pro, the Exynos 2700’s lead was 44 per cent and 36 per cent,
respectively.

The Exynos 2700’s graphics processing unit (GPU) was also reported to
have an advantage. The chip achieved peak performance around 20 per cent
higher than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 when running demanding
games, and baseline performance around 5 per cent higher in high-end 3D
gaming more generally.

The Exynos 2700 is set to be manufactured using Samsung Foundry’s
second-generation 2-nanometre process, known as SF2P.

The chip incorporates Heat Path Block (HPB) packaging technology to
improve heat dissipation and maintain stable performance. It is also
said to offer better power efficiency than its predecessor.

However, the results currently in circulation are based on internal
testing. The Exynos 2700’s real-world performance and power efficiency
can only be objectively assessed once Galaxy S27 Series devices are
officially available.
",
