The Assistant for Supervision (Aswas) at the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT)\nHigh Prosecutor\u2019s Office (Kejati) has scheduled an examination of Medan\nDistrict Chief Prosecutor Ridwan Sujana Angsar for Monday morning\n(4\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n
Ridwan will be questioned in Kupang around 09:00 WITA regarding\nallegations of extorting contractor Hironimus Sonbay, alias Roni. Roni\nis currently a defendant in a corruption case involving the renovation\nof primary and secondary school buildings in Kupang City and Kupang\nRegency.<\/p>\n
The Head of Legal Information Section at Kejati NTT, Anak Agung Raka\nPutra Dharmana, stated that they are still verifying the information\nwith the supervision division. He mentioned that he has not yet received\nofficial confirmation.<\/p>\n
\u201cTomorrow night, I\u2019ll check first. If there\u2019s information, I\u2019ll let\nyou know because I haven\u2019t received confirmation from the supervision\ndivision,\u201d Raka said when contacted by detikBali on Sunday\n(3\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n
In addition to Ridwan, Roni\u2019s lawyer, Fransisco Bessi, is also\nscheduled to be examined as a witness in the same case. Based on letter\nnumber B-64\/N.3.7\/H.III.3\/04\/2026 obtained by detikBali, Fransisco is\nrequested to appear at 09:00 WITA.<\/p>\n
He will be asked for statements by the Assistant for Supervision at\nKejati NTT, Alfred Tasik Palullungan, on the third floor of the\nsupervision division.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo hear his statement as a witness in the internal prosecutorial\nexamination related to allegations of disciplinary violations committed\nby certain prosecutors at the East Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor\u2019s\nOffice,\u201d states the letter addressed to Fransisco, quoted on Sunday\nnight.<\/p>\n
The letter mentions that the clarification is based on the order from\nthe Head of Kejati NTT number Prin-284\/N.3\/H.III.3\/04\/2026 dated 29\nApril 2026.<\/p>\n
Fransisco confirmed the existence of the letter. He stated that the\nexamination might be conducted simultaneously with Ridwan, but he\nrefused to be examined at the same time.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am also being examined tomorrow, but I don\u2019t want to be with\nRidwan,\u201d said Fransisco.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Ridwan Angsar has not responded to detikBali\u2019s request for\nconfirmation regarding the examination schedule.<\/p>\n
Previously, Kejati NTT revealed plans to examine two prosecutors\nsuspected of extorting Hironimus Sonbay (33). The two are Ridwan Sujana\nAngsar and Noven Verderikus Bulan.<\/p>\n
Ridwan currently serves as the Chief Prosecutor of Medan, North\nSumatra, while Noven Bulan serves as the Coordinator for General\nCriminal Affairs (Pidum) at Kejati NTT. Both are suspected of extorting\nRoni, who is now a defendant in the corruption case of rehabilitating\nschool buildings in Kupang City and Kupang Regency.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo after we received that information, the Head of Kejati NTT\nimmediately ordered Aswas to immediately carry out clarification and\nexamination regarding the truth of it,\u201d said the Assistant for\nIntelligence (Asintel) at Kejati NTT, Muhammad Ahsan Thamrin, when\ninterviewed at his office on Wednesday (29\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
Ahsan said the examination would be conducted soon. He stated that\nthe Kejati NTT apparatus is shocked by the allegations.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will carry out the examination as soon as possible in the next\nfew days,\u201d explained Ahsan.<\/p>\n
According to him, if in the examination Ridwan and Noven are proven\nto have committed extortion, they will be subject to sanctions, from\nmild to severe.<\/p>\n
