        "content": "<p>The Directorate of Drug Abuse Crime (Dittipidnarkoba) of the Criminal\nInvestigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police\nconducted a raid on a drug village in Gang Langgar, Samarinda City, East\nKalimantan. Dozens of people were detained in the operation.<\/p>\n<p>The drug village, which has operated for four years, was tightly\nguarded by \u2018snipers\u2019 who served as lookouts to monitor everyone\nentering, including possible police. Dozens of \u2018snipers\u2019 were positioned\nat every corner of the alley to transmit codes.<\/p>\n<p>The operation was uncovered after a joint team from Sub-Directorate\nIV of Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim and NIC Task Force of Bareskrim Polri,\nled by Senior Commissioner Handik Zusen and Senior Commissioner Kevin\nLeleury, conducted undercover surveillance for days at the location. On\nThursday, 15 May 2026, the team entered and conducted a raid on the\nsite.<\/p>\n<p>In the operation, the joint team arrested 11 suspects, including a\ndealer. The suspects were: Ade Saputra, Tri Hartanto Pamungkas,\nKamarudin, Mustafa, Firnandes alias Nando, Asrheel, Muhammad Aswi,\nNasrudin, Muhammad Tamrin, Muhammad Ical, and Idham Halid.<\/p>\n<p>Drug Village Guarded by \u2018Snipers\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Bareskrim revealed the tight guards of the syndicate in this Gang\nLanggar drug village. They mounted at least dozens of monitors \u2014 or as\nthey call \u2018snipers\u2019 \u2014 tasked with watching people entering, including\npolice who arrive.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Therefore, the snipers\u2019 job isn\u2019t only to monitor outsiders, but\nalso the police. The police officer Bripa DW was\nnamed as a \u2018sniper\u2019 or lookout for the drug village.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Bripa Dedy Wiratama is the \u2019sniper\u2019 or person who monitors movements\nof people entering the drug village; he has been detained by the East\nKalimantan Mobile Brigade Unit (Satbrimob Polda Kaltim),\u2019 said Eko\nHadi.<\/p>\n<p>The one-star general said Bripka DW is currently undergoing\ninvestigation for violations of professional police ethics. Nando was intercepted while in the hotel room with his\ngirlfriend.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The suspect Firnandes alias Nando is a drug dealer who operates the\ndrug village in Gang Langgar,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n<p>During the arrest, the police seized two mobile phones belonging to\nthe suspect, Rp 10 million in cash. Police also conducted a search of\nNando\u2019s house at Gang Langgar Blok C, Baqa, Samarinda Seberang,\nSamarinda City, East Kalimantan.<\/p>\n<p>Sales System in the Drug Village<\/p>\n<p>Buyers would enter the location for the sale. Transactions were\nconducted at the site.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Users who have reached the location of sales in Block F of Gang\nLanggar will pay the amount needed, where one small clip is priced at\nRp150,000, and multiples thereof,\u2019 Eko said.<\/p>\n<p>Security was also installed at the stalls or one of the houses\nbelonging to H Endi, now listed as a fugitive (DPO).
