        "content": "<p>Exporters to get award<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The National Agency for Export Development<br>\n(BPEN) will issue awards to successful local exporting companies<br>\nin a bid to help boost export performance, the agency said in a<br>\nstatement issued on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The agency said the acknowledgment, named the Primaniyarta<br>\naward, would be presented to exporters at the 16th Exports Expo<br>\nin October.<\/p>\n<p>\"Primaniyarta awards are given based on the performance of the<br>\nexporters over a five-year period,\" it said.<\/p>\n<p>Primaniyarta awards were bestowed upon exporters annually from<br>\n1992 until BPEN suspended the program in the wake of the 1997<br>\neconomic crisis. Some 500 exporters have previously received the<br>\naward.<\/p>\n<p>Exporters participating in the selection process will be<br>\ngrouped according to the total value of their exports over a<br>\nfive-year period, the agency said.<\/p>\n<p>The categories are: exporters with exports valued at between<br>\nUS$500,000 and $5 million; $5 million and $30 million; $30<br>\nmillion and $70 million; and large exporters with exports valued<br>\nat more than $70 million.
