        "content": "<p>Expanding Ponorogo Regent Case, KPK Issues Two New Investigation\nWarrants<\/p>\n<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has issued two Surat\nPerintah Penyidikan (Sprindik) as part of extending the handling of the\ncase of alleged bribery and gratification involving Ponorogo Regent\nSugiri Sancoko for the periods 2021-2025 and 2025-2030.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom this Ponorogo case, the KPK has again issued two new Sprindik\nas of the end of April,\u201d KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said at the\nagency\u2019s office in Jakarta on Tuesday night, 19 May. \u201cThey are still\ngeneral Sprindik for the corruption offence. That means no suspects have\nbeen named yet. And there is also a Sprindik for the Tindak Pidana\nPencucian Uang (TPPU). So, there are two Sprindik for TPK and TPPU\nstemming from the Ponorogo investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In relation to the investigations into the two cases, investigators\nhave already conducted searches at the home of a businessman in Pacitan\nRegency, East Java, on Monday, 18 May. Investigators found and seized\nelectronic evidence (BBE). Based on reports from several media outlets,\nthe house searched belonged to a businessman named Citra Margaretha,\nlocated at Krajan Hamlet, Bangunsari Village, Pacitan. CNNIndonesia.com\nhas not yet received a response from Citra regarding the legal steps\nundertaken by KPK investigators.<\/p>\n<p>Ponorogo Regent Sugiri Sancoko is currently undergoing trial at the\nCorruption Court of the Surabaya District Court in East Java.
