        "content": "<p>Excelcomindo, LHS tie-up<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Cellular phone operator PT Excelcomindo Pratama<br>\nhas acquired the license to use a software application of U.S.<br>\ntelecommunication software producer LHS to improve its customer<br>\nservice.<\/p>\n<p>The software, Web Service Center (WSC), will enable<br>\nExcelcomindo to activate services with new customers via the<br>\nWorld Wide Web or the Internet.<\/p>\n<p>It also provides access to customer data and account<br>\ninformation, such as customer prepayment, pending requests,<br>\ncredit limits and used tariff models, Excelcomindo president Yaya<br>\nWinarno Junardy said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\"By using the Web Service Center, we are able to easily reach<br>\nremote rural areas across the country,\" he added.<\/p>\n<p>Excelcomindo has 140,000 subscribers with coverage including<br>\nJakarta, West Java, East Java, Central Java, Bali and Lombok.<br>\n(jsk)<\/p>",
