        "content": "<p>Excelcom fixes network<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Mobile telecoms operator PT Excelcomindo Pratama<br>\nsaid on Wednesday it had repaired its telecommunications network<br>\nto prevent bad connections from recurring in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The company's general manager of engineering, M. Baldansyah,<br>\nsaid in a statement the company quickly carried out repair work<br>\nafter its network experienced trouble on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The trouble led to its customers being unable to use the<br>\nservice for several hours from 1 p.m. to about 4 p.m.,<br>\nparticularly around Jakarta's business areas of Jl. Sudirman, Jl.<br>\nThamrin, Kuningan and Kota.<\/p>\n<p>He said the trouble was caused by a sudden overload in<br>\ncommunications traffic, which mainly occurred because many<br>\ncustomers from outside Jakarta came into the areas and used their<br>\ncell phones.<\/p>\n<p>The company apologized for the trouble, he said.
