        "content": "<p>Evicted vendors get stalls<\/p>\n<p>The South Jakarta mayoralty has provided 1,331 stalls in 11<br>\nmarkets for street vendors recently evicted from Pasar Minggu, an<br>\nofficial said.<\/p>\n<p>Lihardin Sipayung, the spokesman of PD Pasar Jaya, the city-<br>\nowned market operator, said on Wednesday there is no need for the<br>\nvendors to worry.<\/p>\n<p>Ten of the 11 eleven markets providing the stalls for the<br>\nvendors are in Radio Dalam, Lenteng Agung, South Cipete,<br>\nMayestik, Cidodol, Kebayoran Lama, Melawai, Cipete, Manggis and<br>\nPasar Rumput.<\/p>\n<p>Lihardin said PD Pasar Jaya also trained 855 vendors from<br>\nmarkets throughout the mayoralty in 1994. By comparison 600<br>\ntraders were trained by the company in 1993 and 1,122 in 1992.<\/p>\n<p>He said that under the training courses, the traders are<br>\ntaught how to improve their trading techniques.
