        "content": "<p>Moscow (ANTARA) - The European Union (EU) has extended sanctions\nagainst Iran until 13 April 2027 over allegations of serious human\nrights violations. \u201cThe Council today decided to extend the EU\u2019s\nrestrictive measures in response to serious human rights violations in\nIran until 13 April 2027,\u201d the Council stated in a release on Monday\n(30\/3). In the context of the sanctions review, the EU Council also\ndecided not to renew the list of deceased individuals. \u201cThe list now\nincludes a total of 262 individuals and 53 entities,\u201d the statement\nadded. EU citizens and companies are also prohibited from providing\nfunds to the individuals and entities included in the sanctions list.\nThe EU began imposing sanctions on Iran in 2011 and has renewed them\nannually.
