        "content": "<p>EU duty on Asian bikes<\/p>\n<p>BRUSSELS (Reuter): The European Union imposed yesterday<br>\ndefinitive anti-dumping duties on bicycles originating in<br>\nIndonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, the EU Official Journal said.<\/p>\n<p>\"A definitive anti-dumping duty is hereby imposed on imports<br>\nof bicycles and other cycles (including delivery tricycles), not<br>\nmotorized...originating in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand,\" the<br>\njournal said.<\/p>\n<p>Duty rates against such products made in Indonesia are to<br>\nrange from 21.9 percent to 29.1 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Those for Malaysian-origin bicycles range from 23.1 percent to<br>\n39.4 percent while Thai-made products will see duties range from<br>\n13 to 39.2 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The measure, which replaces a provisional duty regime, came<br>\ninto force on April 13, the journal said.<\/p>",
