        "content": "<p>EU amends duties on MSG<\/p>\n<p>BRUSSELS (Reuter): The European Commission said it was<br>\namending definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of monosodium<br>\nglutamate from Indonesia, South Korea and Taiwan because of<br>\ncontinued price undercutting.<\/p>\n<p>It said an investigation prompted by a complaint from Orsan SA<br>\nof France, the only producer in the European Union, had found the<br>\nduties imposed in 1990 were insufficient to prevent dumping.<\/p>\n<p>It therefore imposed new duties of 0.334 Ecus\/kg on imports<br>\nfrom Indonesia, 0.289 Ecus\/kg on Taiwanese imports, 0.129 Ecus\/kg<br>\non material from Korea's Cheil Foods &amp; Chemicals Co and 0.286<br>\nEcus\/kg on all other South Korea imports.<\/p>",
