        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Land Transportation under the\nMinistry of Transportation is currently trialling the enforcement of\ndigital law for Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) vehicles through\nElectronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) or Electronic Recording\nEvidence Devices. The limited trial of ETLE enforcement for vehicles\nexceeding dimensions and loads began in January 2026. Director General\nof Land Transportation Aan Suhanan stated that this is the Ministry\u2019s\nresponsibility in accordance with the National Action Plan for Handling\nOver Dimension and Over Load Vehicles, which forms part of the Draft\nPresidential Regulation on Strengthening National Logistics. Aan\nexplained that the use of technology such as ETLE is crucial for\nsupervising, recording, and taking action against goods vehicles at\nweighing facilities. Meanwhile, this limited trial is being conducted at\nthree locations of Motor Vehicle Weighing Units based on Weigh In\nMotion, namely Kertapati Weighing Unit, Talang Kelapa, and Balonggandu.\n\u201cThrough ETLE, it has been recorded that up to 11 May 2026, there were\n98,983 violations by goods transport vehicles. South Sumatra Province is\nthe region with the highest number of violations, namely 71,402 or 73\npercent,\u201d said Aan. As for the types of violations, they are dominated\nby load capacity violations at 55,462 or 57 percent, documentation\nviolations at 42,427 or 43 percent, and loading procedure violations at\n94 cases. Aan explained that his side has printed and sent letters as a\nform of follow-up enforcement for the violators.<\/p>",
