        "content": "<p>The Expert Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources\n(ESDM) for Commercialisation and Oil and Gas Transport, Satya Hangga\nYudha Widya Putra, supports the strengthening of direct gas allocation\nto West Java\u2019s regional-owned enterprise (BUMD), PT Migas Utama Jabar\n(MUJ).<\/p>\n<p>While inspecting the compressed natural gas (CNG) mother station in\nPasirjadi, Subang, West Java, Hangga specifically highlighted the\nurgency of optimising assets and strengthening the role of West Java\u2019s\noil and gas BUMD to secure local energy supplies in the heart of the\nnational industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis direct allocation of gas is important considering that West\nJava has a high concentration of industrial areas and a large\npopulation,\u201d Hangga stated in a briefing in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The inspection on Monday (31\/08\/2026) reaffirms the commitment of the\nMinistry of ESDM, alongside local governments, to support the role of\nBUMDs in maintaining the reliability of regional energy supplies.<\/p>\n<p>At the gas facility, which currently has a capacity of four million\nstandard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD), Hangga is overseeing plans for the\ndirect allocation and independent management of pipeline infrastructure\nby PT Migas Hilir Jabar, a subsidiary of MUJ, transitioning from the\ncurrent operator, PT BBG.<\/p>\n<p>Hangga expressed his support for the direct allocation of gas supply\nfrom PT Pertamina EP Region 7 to MUJ, through the support of the Special\nTask Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas), to\nbolster national energy security and self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Director of MUJ, Undang Sudrajat, outlined plans for\nfuture operational capacity expansion. \u201cThere are plans to increase\ncapacity to seven MMSCFD and to establish an LNG mother station. There\nis no doubt regarding demand, as it could reach 14 MMSCFD in West Java,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>",
