        "content": "<p>Escapees captured<\/p>\n<p>BANDAR LAMPUNG, Lampung: Three of the eight prisoners who<br>\nescaped from the Kota Agung prison last week have been captured.<\/p>\n<p>Chief of the Bandar Lampung police precinct, Col. Didi<br>\nKusumayadi, said yesterday the three had been returned to the<br>\nprison and were being kept under close surveillance.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We are determined to recapture all the escapees soon because<br>\notherwise they will cause unrest,&quot; he said. He identified those<br>\nstill at large as Bambang Supriyanto, Supri, Ibrahim, Sudirosi<br>\nand Irfan.<\/p>\n<p>Chief of the provincial office of the justice ministry,<br>\nSoejagoes, said it is difficult to guard prisoners because, he<br>\nadded, it is the nature of convicts to try to escape.<\/p>\n<p>Eddy Rifai, a criminologist at Lampung University, speculated<br>\nthat the prisoners had broken out because they had not been given<br>\nthe opportunity to satisfy their sexual needs. He proposed that<br>\nconvicts be allowed to receive visits from their wives.<\/p>\n<p>Sociologist Soleman Biasane Taneko of the same university said<br>\nthat prisoners should be made work in order that they be kept<br>\nbusy.
