The Oct. 1 launching of the book titled Aku bangga menjadi
\nanak PKI (I am proud to be the child of the Indonesian Communist
\nParty), written by Ribka Tjiptaning Proletariati, has caused
\npublic controversy because of the fear that a communist power
\nmight reappear in this country. Most Indonesians agree that
\ncommunism is a dangerous ideology because it does not teach a
\nbelief in God and its followers tend to act cruelly.<\/p>\n
However, there are people who maintain that applying a
\ncommunist ideology would close the social gaps and solve the
\neconomic crisis that resulted from the application of the
\ncapitalist ideology.<\/p>\n
Yet when they ask which ideologies are needed to be viewed
\nwith suspicion or thrown out, their answer would be of course not
\nonly the one that is against God but the one that sets aside
\nGod's role in making regulations and affirming man's role in
\nregulating life.<\/p>\n
Lamentably, the secular capitalist ideology is never suspected
\nor questioned. This ideology is still believed to be able to
\nbring this country out of crisis despite the fact that it has
\nbrought about other prolonged crises.<\/p>\n
Based on this failure, why don't we think about adopting other
\nideologies from God which have for centuries proven to be able to
\nprovide human beings with welfare?<\/p>\n
