Jakarta (ANTARA) - Environment Minister Moh Jumhur Hidayat has\nexpressed his readiness to oversee the implementation of the green\npolicies outlined by President Prabowo Subianto during the Annual\nSession of the People\u2019s Consultative Assembly, as a concrete step to\nensure that nature conservation brings prosperity to the public.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is our collective commitment to the principle of no generation\nleft behind: ensuring that today\u2019s green transition becomes a legacy of\nprosperity, not a burden for the future,\u201d said the Minister of\nEnvironment\/Head of the Environmental Control Agency, Jumhur, in a\nstatement confirmed from Jakarta on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The statement responded to the strategic policy direction on the\nenvironment delivered by President Prabowo Subianto during his State\nAddress at the Annual Session of the People\u2019s Consultative Assembly in\nJakarta on Friday (14\/8), as a concrete step to ensure that nature\nconservation and ecological justice bring equitable prosperity to all\nIndonesians.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe second guideline is to safeguard, implement and protect vital\ncore national interests. This includes protecting and managing\nIndonesia\u2019s national wealth so that it can be fully utilised for the\nprosperity of all Indonesian people,\u201d said President Prabowo\nSubianto.<\/p>\n
In response, the Ministry of Environment\/Environmental Control Agency\nhas placed the protection of natural wealth, social justice, and\nconcrete solutions for communities at the grassroots level as the main\npriorities of the ministry\u2019s future policies.<\/p>\n
Jumhur stated that the Ministry of Environment\/Environmental Control\nAgency is committed to strengthening sustainable resource management\nmeasures so that the benefits of a sustainable earth can be felt\nequitably by all levels of society. This step is in line with the\nprinciple of no generation left behind to guarantee the rights of future\ngenerations to a healthy environment.<\/p>\n
For the Ministry of Environment\/Environmental Control Agency, the\nstate must be present to ensure that the prosperity derived from natural\nwealth is shared collectively. This spirit serves as the ministry\u2019s\ndriving force in delivering equitable access to natural resources.<\/p>\n
