        "content": "<p>According to a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday, Circular\nLetter No.\u00a016 of 2026 took effect on Aug.\u00a010, calling on all governors,\ndistrict heads, and mayors to tighten enforcement against land burners\nas the country faces rising temperatures and prolonged dry\nconditions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not giving room for the practice of burning to clear land.\nAll parties must abide by this rule for the sake of environmental\nprotection, public health, and economic sustainability,\u201d Environment\nMinister M.
