"summary": "Indonesia's Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq has warned that West Kalimantan faces a prolonged dry season in 2026, with rainfall expected to be the lowest in three decades, potentially sparking severe forest and land fires if not addressed early. He urged proactive measures, including coordination with meteorological and disaster agencies for cloud seeding, and reviewed community programmes to prevent fires, aligning with President Prabowo Subianto's goals for emission reduction and net zero emissions by 2060. Additionally, the minister called for a transformation in waste management, banning open dumping practices starting in 2026 to promote more sustainable systems.",
