Environment minister installs 7 deputies<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: State Minister for the Environment Rachmat Witoelar
\ninstalled seven new deputies at a ceremony here on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Those inaugurated included deputy environment minister for
\nenvironmental planning Arie Djunardi Djuhana, deputy minister for
\npollution control Moh. Gempur Adnan, and deputy minister for
\nnatural resource conservation and environmental impact control
\nMasnellyarti.<\/p>\n
Also installed were deputy environment minister for hazardous
\nand poisonous substances and waste management Yanuardi Rasudin,
\ndeputy minister for environmental management Hoetomo, deputy
\nminister for environmental communications and community
\nempowerment Sudarijono, as well as deputy minister for
\ninfrastructure development and capacity building Isa Karmisa
\nArdiputra.<\/p>\n
All of them are not new to the environment ministry, and
\nRachmat said it was just a tour of duty among top officials and
\nthat he was satisfied with their work.<\/p>\n
"I can't find any better candidates. They are the best," he
\nsaid when asked why he did not appoint new deputies from outside
\nhis office.<\/p>\n
The inauguration ceremony was attended by former environment
\nminister Panangian Siregar, officials and staff. (004)<\/p>",
