        "content": "<p>Entry to Bali through Gilimanuk Port has been tightened during the\nEid al-Fitr return flow. Residents arriving at Gilimanuk Port in\nJembrana, Bali, without a clear purpose and without identification will\nbe repatriated to their home regions.<\/p>\n<p>Observations by detikBali on Thursday afternoon (26\/3\/2026) showed\nthat the movement of incoming residents (dukTang) at Gilimanuk Port\nremained relatively controlled. Although there has not yet been a\ndrastic surge, joint personnel have been deployed to inspect the\nadministration of arriving residents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe personnel come from Civil Registry (Dukcapil), Civil Service\nPolice (Satpol PP), Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), National\nPolice (Polri), Transportation Department, and Community Protection\n(Linmas). This is a precautionary measure ahead of the peak return flow\nfor the 2026 Eid holiday,\u201d stated the Head of Population Registration\nServices at Jembrana\u2019s Civil Registry, I Komang Sujana, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, checks are focused at the population post in Gilimanuk\nTerminal. According to him, personnel prioritise factual verification.\nIn addition to being asked to show their ID card (KTP), incoming\nindividuals are also required to provide a clear guarantor for their\narrival in Bali.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs long as they can show supporting evidence such as a photocopy or\nphoto of their KTP on their mobile phone, have a valid National ID\nNumber (NIK), and have a clear guarantor, tolerance is still given,\u201d\nsaid Sujana.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConversely, incoming individuals without complete identification,\nwithout a purpose, or without a guarantor will certainly be repatriated\nto their home regions,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Identity checks for people entering Bali are also conducted at night.\nIn the early hours of Wednesday (25\/3), members of the Civil Service\nPolice Unit (Satpol PP) stood guard outside Gilimanuk Port. Vehicles\nexiting the port were directed to Gilimanuk Terminal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGood evening, sir, may I see your KTP,\u201d said one Satpol PP member.\nVehicles were allowed to pass after the identity matched the driver.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Satpol PP Jembrana, I Ketut Eko Susilo Artha Permana,\nrevealed that his personnel have been mobilised to anticipate the peak\nreturn flow at Gilimanuk Port. The peak flow to Bali is predicted to\noccur this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, additional Satpol PP personnel have been deployed to support\nidentity checks for residents entering Bali to ensure maximum\nsupervision.
