PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Refinery Unit Dumai (Pertamina Dumai\nRefinery) has confirmed that refinery operations will continue normally\naround the clock during the Idul Fitri 1447 H celebrations. The aim is\nto ensure the availability and resilience of national energy supplies,\nparticularly in the North Sumatra region (Sumbagut) during the Ramadan\nand Idul Fitri Task Force period.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, Pertamina Dumai Refinery ensures that health, safety,\nsecurity, and environmental (HSSE) aspects are prioritised across all\noperational lines. Dumai Refinery management conducted management\nwalkthroughs (MWT) to several operational areas after performing Idul\nFitri prayers.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll officers are carrying out their duties professionally according\nto the task assignments to ensure refinery operations run optimally,\nsafely, and reliably in serving the community\u2019s energy needs during the\nRAFI 2026 moment,\u201d said General Manager of Pertamina Dumai Refinery Iwan\nKurniawan in his statement on Tuesday (24\/3).<\/p>\n
In addition to MWT, operational reliability is monitored in real time\nthrough the Main Control Room and plant patrol activities. Security\naspects are also a primary focus.<\/p>\n
This security involves internal and external synergies, including\nSecurity PT KPI RU II Dumai, PAM Obvitnas of Riau Police, Dumai Police\nResort, Kodim 0320, Lanal Dumai, Satrad 232, Denrudal 004, Kipan A 132,\nSubdenpom 01, and Satpol PP.<\/p>\n
Iwan stated that Pertamina Dumai Refinery is committed to meeting the\nproduction targets that have been outlined, namely 3.27 million barrels\nduring March 2026. This consists of 0.35 million barrels of Pertalite,\n2.60 million barrels of solar, and 0.32 million barrels of avtur.<\/p>\n
Area Manager for Communication, Relations, & CSR at Pertamina\nDumai Refinery, Tengku Muhammad Rum, emphasised that synergy with\nstakeholders is key to maintaining smooth operations.<\/p>\n
