        "content": "<p>Private higher education institutions (PTS) in Bali are beginning\npreparations to implement distance learning (PJJ) or online classes for\nstudents in semester five and above. This step is in response to the\ncall for energy efficiency from the Ministry of Higher Education,\nScience, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). The policy refers to Circular\nLetter No.\u00a02 of 2026, issued on 2 April 2026. In the circular, campuses\nare requested to adjust learning and working patterns to respond to\nglobal geopolitical dynamics, including energy-saving efforts. This\npolicy applies to all higher education institutions, both public (PTN)\nand private (PTS). However, the implementation of PJJ will not be\ncarried out comprehensively. The Head of the General Section of the\nLLDikti Region VIII, Nyoman Bagus Suweta Nugraha, explained that\nacademic activities requiring direct practice will still be conducted\nin-person. \u201cFor activities that indeed require direct practice, they\nwill still be carried out offline,\u201d said Nugraha to detikBali on Tuesday\n(15\/4\/2026). In addition to learning, adjustments are also being made to\nthe work patterns of employees and lecturers.
