Through a statement and clarification, the school, located\nin Gianyar, asserts that its operations comply with legal regulations as\na non-formal learning centre.<\/p>\n<p>The Communication Officer of Empathy School, Abi Ardianda, stated\nthat the reports circulating were done without balanced confirmation and\ntend to create a negative opinion. He regretted the use of language that\nseemed to conclude the allegations as proven facts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are responding to reports in several online media outlets\nregarding allegations against Empathy School without balanced\nconfirmation from us. It should be noted that the reports were done\nwithout balanced verification and create the impression that the\nallegations are proven facts,\u201d said Abi Ardianda in his official\nstatement, Friday (15\/5).<\/p>\n<p>The school explained that currently, Empathy School operates as a\nproject-based non-formal learning centre under the auspices of the\nAbirama Alam Empati Foundation. The institution claims to have\nestablished active cooperation with the local education department,\nincluding undergoing evaluations and routine visits.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Empathy School is also in the administrative process of\nobtaining formal school status. Regarding the allegations circulating,\nthe school suspects a coordinated effort from certain parties, including\nthe involvement of foreign nationals, to discredit their\ninstitution.<\/p>\n<p>The founder of the Abirama Alam Empati Foundation, Muhammad Arsya\nHarryanto, reaffirmed the school\u2019s vision to produce a generation that\nis academically intelligent and has high empathy for others and the\nenvironment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor me, Empathy School is not only producing educated successors,\nbut also prioritising empathy,\u201d said Arsya.<\/p>\n<p>As a further legal step, Empathy School is preparing complete\ndocumentation to be submitted to relevant agencies, including the\nDirectorate General of Immigration and the Indonesian Advocates\nAssociation (PERADI), to clarify all allegations against them.<\/p>\n<p>The school, which originated from a homeschooling concept during the\nCovid-19 pandemic, stated that it will remain committed to continuing\ncoordination with all government institutions in good faith for the\nsustainability of their students\u2019 education.
