        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has warned of the potential\nimpact of the El Ni\u00f1o climate phenomenon on the capital\u2019s economy. The\nclimate event is forecasted to begin in mid-April and last until\nSeptember 2026. \u201cThe BMKG has officially announced that El Ni\u00f1o will\nstart from mid-April to September. This means, sooner or later, it will\ncertainly affect the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government,\u201d said Pramono\nduring the opening of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government\u2019s\nDevelopment Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) at City Hall on Thursday\n(16\/4\/2026). According to him, El Ni\u00f1o conditions could influence\nvarious sectors, from food availability to price stability in the\nmarket. \u201cUp to today, we have not yet found a common ground on what will\nhappen and how to resolve it because, in any case, this will affect fuel\nprices, supply chains, and various existing issues,\u201d he stated.\nTherefore, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is urged to prepare\nanticipatory steps, especially in the short term, to maintain regional\neconomic stability.
