The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) opened a visiting\nschedule for detainees at the KPK Detention Centre during the Eid\nal-Fitr 1447 Hijriah\/2026 festivities. Families and relatives of the\ndetainees arrived carrying food for the holiday occasion.<\/p>\n
Observations at the site on Saturday (21\/3\/2026) showed families of\ndetainees queuing at the registration desk from before 10:00 WIB.\nDetention centre staff were also seen inspecting the food brought by the\nfamilies.<\/p>\n
Several families of detainees present included those of the inactive\nRegent of Pati, Sudewo, inactive Regent of Bekasi, Ade Kuswara Kunang,\nand the Director of Forest Industry V or Inhutani V, Dicky Yuana Rady.\nAdditionally, the child of the inactive Regent of Pekalongan, Fadia\nArafiq, Mehnaz Nazeera Ashraff, was seen.<\/p>\n
Mehnaz Nazeera Ashraff did not respond when interviewed by\njournalists. She appeared to continue walking without paying attention\nto the reporters\u2019 questions.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Dicky Yuana\u2019s son, Riyan Ahmad Radi (26), briefly\nexplained the purpose of his visit. He, who came with his family, said\nthey were taking advantage of the visiting time to interact and check on\nhis father\u2019s condition.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just visited with my sibling to see my father. My father got\ncaught in a corruption case about a year ago, and now he\u2019s been in\ndetention for almost a year,\u201d said Riyan when met.<\/p>\n
Riyan admitted he only had 30 minutes to meet his father. He stated\nthat all the legal processes being undergone by his father were\nproceeding smoothly.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe met for about half an hour. Because it\u2019s turn-taking with other\nfamily members too,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe moment (the meeting) was good, alhamdulillah, no obstacles, no\ncomplications, everything went smoothly,\u201d Riyan added.<\/p>\n
Previously reported, the KPK facilitated 67 of its detainees to\nperform Eid Prayers at the KPK Red and White Building. The prayers began\nat 06:30 WIB.<\/p>\n
In addition, Budi stated that the food delivery service was open from\n09:00 to 11:00 WIB. Detainees were also given the opportunity for\nface-to-face meetings with families from 10:00 to 13:00 WIB.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs of now, there are a total of 81 detainees, namely 41 people from\nthe KPK Detention Centre at the Red and White Building (K4) and 40\npeople from the KPK Detention Centre at Building C1. Of this total, 67\nare Muslims,\u201d said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists on\nFriday (20\/3).<\/p>\n
Budi explained that the provision of these services is to uphold the\nprinciple of human rights (HAM) for the detainees. All such facilities\nare provided while still considering security aspects.<\/p>\n
