        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - EGI Resources has officially expanded its business\noperations into Central Asia by entering the property and hospitality\nsectors in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. This expansion focuses on developing a\nrapidly growing religious tourism destination in the region.<\/p>\n<p>This strategic move was marked by the signing of two cooperation\nagreements at the Uzbekistan\u2013Indonesia Cooperation Forum 2026 held in\nJakarta. The initiatives include the construction of a new hotel as well\nas the acquisition of existing property assets.<\/p>\n<p>In the development project, EGI Foods and Beverages LLC has partnered\nwith Hamkorbank to build an international-standard hotel in the Imam\nBukhari Mausoleum complex area, known as one of the main pilgrimage\ncentres in Central Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, through its entity ARSLAN AIR LLC, EGI Resources has\nacquired a hotel asset from Trastbank JSC. The property will be\nrevitalised with a new concept that highlights Indonesian cultural\nidentity.<\/p>\n<p>CEO of EGI Resources, Erslan Gazali Ibrahim, stated that the\ndeveloped hotel will bear the name \u201cHotel Kampoeng Indonesia\u201d with an\ninternational service concept blended with typical Indonesian\nhospitality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis concept is presented to provide a different experience for\ntourists, especially in the continuously developing religious\ndestination,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>From the bilateral relations perspective, the project has received\nsupport from the local government, as evidenced by the presence of\nSamarkand Governor A.M.
