Efata, Lippo work on ticket payment<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: New airline carrier PT Efata Papua Airlines (Air
\nEfata) and PT Bank Lippo Tbk signed a deal on Thursday, allowing
\nthe bank's customers to purchase plane tickets through its ATMs
\nand Internet banking network.<\/p>\n
Air Efata president director Frank Taira Supit said in a
\nstatement that the agreement would help customers in paying for
\ntickets.<\/p>\n
"By working together with LippoBank, we can reduce the hassles
\n(associated with ticket sales) by offering our customers a
\nconvenient option of paying through ATMs and Internet banking,"
\nhe said.<\/p>\n
LippoBank, which was recently acquired by Malaysia's Khazanah
\nNasional Berhad, has 600 ATMs in 120 cities in the country. As of
\nOctober, the bank has issued more than 2.5 million ATM cards and
\nhas some 68,000 customers registered to use the Lippo Netbank
