This statement was made by the\nuniversity\u2019s legal counsel, Alwanih, in response to the court\u2019s decision\nto grant a lawsuit filed by the Ketilang Insan Mandiri (KIM) Foundation\nagainst the Minister of Religious Affairs\u2019 Decree (KMA) Number 1543 of\n2025. In this case, the Minister of Religious Affairs acted as the\nDefendant, while UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta was the Co-Defendant\nfor Intervention. Alwanih explained that the lawsuit against KMA Number\n1543 of 2025 was initially filed by three foundations. However, during\nthe trial process, the Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Foundation and the\nTriguna Utama Syarif Hidayatullah Foundation withdrew their lawsuits, a\nmove approved by the panel of judges at the Jakarta Administrative\nCourt. Consequently, the court\u2019s final ruling only concerns the lawsuit\nfiled by the Ketilang Insan Mandiri (KIM) Foundation. \u2018Therefore, the\nPTUN ruling must be understood proportionally according to the object of\nthe dispute examined and decided by the panel of judges,\u2019 he stated in\nJakarta on Sunday. \u2018The ruling only relates to the KIM Foundation\u2019s\nlawsuit and does not automatically alter the management of educational\nunits under the UIN Jakarta BLU,\u2019 he added.
