        "content": "<p>The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has\nurged educational units affected by disasters in several provinces to\ndeliver education services by referring to various post-disaster\nregulations and guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Basic and Secondary Education Policy Agency (BKPDM) at\nKemendikdasmen, Toni Toharudin, affirmed that the ministry has issued\nregulations and policies that serve as references for the provision of\neducation in disaster situations, ranging from Minister of Education and\nCulture Regulation Number 33 of 2019 on the Implementation of the\nDisaster Safe Education Unit Programme (SPAB), to Secretary General\nRegulation Number 6 of 2023 on Technical Guidelines for the\nImplementation of the SPAB Programme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRegulations and guidelines regarding the provision of education in\ndisaster situations are already available. We encourage regional\ngovernments and educational units to utilise and implement them\naccording to conditions on the ground, while prioritising safety and the\nfulfilment of students\u2019 right to learn,\u201d he said in Jakarta on\nMonday.<\/p>\n<p>As the latest development this year, the ministry has also issued\nMinister of Primary and Secondary Education Circular Letter Number 1 of\n2026 on the Provision of Learning in Disaster-Affected Educational\nUnits, as well as an Education Implementation Guide.<\/p>\n<p>He added that all these regulations and guidelines can also be\naccessed by regional governments and educational units through the Legal\nDocumentation and Information Network (JDIH) of Kemendikdasmen and via\nthe link bkpdm.kemendikdasmen.go.id\/TangguhBencana.<\/p>\n<p>With easy access to information, the ministry hopes that educational\nunits will have clear references for maintaining the continuity of\neducation services before, during, and after a disaster occurs.<\/p>",
