        "content": "<p>The commitment was formalized Wednesday in Jakarta through an\nagreement establishing a framework for Training of Trainers (ToT) under\nthe \u201cPaham AI\u201d (AI Literacy) program.<\/p>\n<p>Tatang Muttaqin, the ministry\u2019s director general for secondary and\nspecial education, said rapid digital transformation was reshaping how\npeople think.<\/p>\n<p>Artificial intelligence, he said, offers major opportunities to\nimprove education quality and productivity.<\/p>\n<p>But technological advances also pose risks, including misuse,\ncybercrime, disinformation, privacy breaches and ethical challenges in\nAI use.<\/p>\n<p>Under the program, personnel from 12 provincial police forces will be\ntrained to instruct senior and vocational high school students in their\nrespective regions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDigital competence goes beyond technical skills. Building digital\ncharacter is equally important so students can use AI wisely and\nmaximize its benefits,\u201d Tatang said.<\/p>\n<p>He also stressed the importance of cooperation among all parties to\nbuild a safe digital ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Indarto, head of the National Police\u2019s Technology and Communication\nBureau, said the ToT program was designed as a long-term effort to\nimprove AI literacy among students and teachers.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative is crucial, he said, because young people\u2019s adoption\nof AI is advancing much faster than regulatory frameworks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis creates an opportunity to build trust between police and\nstudents.
