        "content": "<p>The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has\nsummoned 60,896 teachers to participate in the second phase of the\nProfessional Teacher Education (PPG) programme for certain teachers in\n2026. Director of PPG at Kemendikdasmen, Ferry Maulana Putra, urged\nteachers to check the Continuous Professional Development Management\nInformation System (SIMPKB) application to confirm their status and\nfollow the established schedule.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the prospective participants who have been called up\nare teachers who have met the administrative requirements. They come\nfrom all over Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua, and even include teachers\nfrom Indonesian educational units abroad.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis call for prospective participants of the PPG for Certain\nTeachers Phase 2 is the government\u2019s commitment to accelerating the\ncompletion of teacher certification in Indonesia. We urge the teachers\nwho have been called to immediately confirm their willingness in their\nrespective SIMPKB accounts,\u201d Ferry said in a statement on Sunday\n(28\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The stages of the PPG for Certain Teachers Phase 2 begin with\nconfirmation of willingness from 22 to 28 June 2026. After that,\nparticipants will undergo a self-reporting process from 1 to 4 July 2026\nand an orientation on 8 July 2026. Teachers can then undertake\nindependent learning through the Ruang GTK platform from 8 July to 12\nAugust 2026, before taking the PPG Participant Competency Exam\n(UKPPPG).<\/p>\n<p>Teachers who are declared to have passed the series of PPG stages for\nCertain Teachers will receive an educator certificate. \u201cThis certificate\nis a form of recognition of teacher professionalism and is one of the\nrequirements for obtaining a professional allowance in accordance with\napplicable regulations,\u201d Ferry said.<\/p>\n<p>Based on data from the Directorate of PPG, West Java has the highest\nnumber of participants in PPG for Certain Teachers Phase 2, with 8,565\npeople, followed by East Java with 6,548 people. Next are North Sumatra\nwith 4,425 people and Central Java with 3,964 people. The total number\nof participants called up reached 60,896 teachers from all regions in\nIndonesia. \u201cThis figure illustrates the great enthusiasm of educators to\ncontinue learning and improving their competence in order to provide\nbetter educational services to students,\u201d Ferry said.<\/p>",
