        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education\n(Kemendikdasmen) has stated that mastery and utilisation of Interactive\nFlat Panels (IFP) are key to improving the quality of learning in\nspecial needs schools (SLB).<\/p>\n<p>Vice Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Atip Latipulhayat\nsaid in a written statement on Tuesday that teacher competence,\nsupported by the use and mastery of technology, is the main key to\nimproving the quality of learning in SLB.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the task carried out by SLB teachers is extraordinary,\nas it demands greater capacity, patience, and commitment compared to\nother professions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSLB teachers have dedicated themselves to serving our brothers and\nsisters with special needs. Of course, a spirit of service and spiritual\nvalues are important strengths in carrying out this noble task,\u201d said\nVice Minister Atip.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the use of technology in education must be carried out\nappropriately to improve the quality of the teaching and learning\nprocess.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTeachers must have the knowledge, mastery, and skills to utilise\ntechnology optimally. Teachers must be the main actors in the success of\nthe Digitalisation of Learning programme, so that this IFP can have a\nsignificant impact on the quality of education,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Vice Minister Atip also invited all participants to continue\nstrengthening their competencies, optimising the use of technology, and\nbringing innovation to the teaching process.<\/p>\n<p>On the same occasion, Director General of Secondary Education and\nSpecial Education at Kemendikdasmen, Tatang Muttaqin, emphasised that\ndigital transformation in schools is not solely determined by the\navailability of technological devices, but also by the ability of\nteachers to utilise them to support the learning process.<\/p>\n<p>Through the implementation of technical guidance, all participating\nteachers will develop follow-up plans, including the development of\ndigital teaching materials, production of learning videos, creation of\neducational games, and dissemination of training results to colleagues\nat their respective schools.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope that SLB teachers can become the driving force of digital\ntransformation in schools, presenting learning that is increasingly\ninnovative, enjoyable, inclusive, and accommodates the learning needs of\nevery student with special needs,\u201d said Tatang.<\/p>",
