"summary": "Indonesia's Minister of Basic and Secondary Education, Abdul Mu'ti, has confirmed that in-person schooling will continue as usual, prioritising academic needs and character education over proposed online alternatives. This decision follows a cross-ministerial meeting and stems from the government's energy-saving strategy, which initially considered reverting to remote learning in April 2026 but deemed it unnecessary to avoid learning loss. Coordinating Minister Pratikno emphasised President Prabowo's focus on enhancing human resource quality through optimal face-to-face education in schools.",
