The only habit that human beings never seem to be able to give
\nup is justifying their own actions and blaming other people when
\nthings go wrong.<\/p>\n
With the country in such a bad way, this habit has become even
\nmore pronounced.<\/p>\n
In the context of economic recovery, high-ranking officials in
\nthe economic sector usually blame the security situation as the
\nreason why economic recovery has been very slow. They argue that
\nonly when security is good can business and investment improve.<\/p>\n
Is poor security the reason for the slow economic recovery?
\nThe answer is no. In fact, as the result of serious efforts by
\nthe government and the public, the security situation, previously
\nprecarious, is now improving.<\/p>\n
Localized and sporadic security disturbances cannot be used to
\nclaim that the country is insecure. Bombings and shootings are
\nnot unheard of in many other countries. Unfortunately, in
\nIndonesia, while security is improving, the economy is still in a
