        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The President Director of PT Jasa Marga\n(Persero) Tbk, Rivan A. Purwantono, stated that the volume of vehicles\nleaving the Jabotabek area reached 516,654 during the H-1 to H+1 period\nof the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ (Easter) holiday, or from\nThursday to Saturday, 2-4 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>This figure represents an increase of 9.69 per cent compared to\nnormal traffic of 471,025 vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>He said the number is the cumulative traffic flow through four main\ntoll gates: Cikupa GT (towards Merak), Ciawi GT (towards Puncak),\nCikampek Main GT (towards Trans Java), and Kalihurip Main GT (towards\nBandung).<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, 145,153 vehicles, or 28.1 per cent, headed west\n(Merak), and 133,025 vehicles, or 25.7 per cent, headed south (Puncak),\nRivan continued.<\/p>\n<p>Vehicle traffic leaving the Jabodetabek area towards various\ndirections was observed to increase, particularly to the east and\nsouth.<\/p>\n<p>For the east direction (Trans Java and Bandung), the volume of\nvehicles exiting through the Cikampek Main Toll Gate on the\nJakarta-Cikampek Toll Road was recorded at 111,461 vehicles, an increase\nof 21.03 per cent compared to normal traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Bandung via the Kalihurip Main Toll\nGate on the Cipularang Toll Road reached 127,015 units, up 18.34 per\ncent from normal conditions.<\/p>\n<p>In total, traffic towards Trans Java and Bandung through these two\ntoll gates reached 238,476 vehicles, an increase of 19.58 per cent\ncompared to normal.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, for the west direction (Merak), the volume of\nvehicles leaving Jabodetabek via the Cikupa Toll Gate on the\nTangerang-Merak Toll Road was recorded at 145,153 vehicles, down 4.45\nper cent from normal traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, vehicle movement towards the south (Puncak) via the Ciawi\nToll Gate on the Jagorawi Toll Road reached 133,025 vehicles, an\nincrease of 11.14 per cent compared to normal conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Rivan explained that on H+1 of the 2026 Easter holiday, or Saturday\n(4\/4\/2026), vehicle traffic returning to Jabodetabek at the four main\ntoll gates showed an increase, recorded at 173,000 vehicles, up 19.73\nper cent from normal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe urge toll road users to anticipate this Easter holiday travel\nwell,\u201d he emphasised.<\/p>",
