        "content": "<p>Jombang \u2014 The East Java Provincial Government has allocated Rp46.8\nbillion for the rehabilitation and revitalisation of facilities and\ninfrastructure across 51 secondary schools, vocational schools, and\nspecial needs schools\u2014both public and private.<\/p>\n<p>The schools are spread across Jombang, Nganjuk, and Blitar regencies.\nThe allocation breakdown is as follows: Jombang Regency received Rp13.9\nbillion for 16 educational institutions, Nganjuk Regency received Rp13.3\nbillion for 14 institutions, and Blitar Regency received Rp19.5 billion\nfor 21 educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is part of our efforts to maintain the quality of secondary and\nvocational education so it remains relevant to contemporary\ndevelopments, labour market needs, and future challenges,\u201d said East\nJava Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa in a statement issued in Jombang\non Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative also aims to establish a safe and comfortable\neducational ecosystem for school communities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the learning environment is better supported by facilities and\ninfrastructure, teachers are more comfortable, the learning ecosystem\nimproves, and students benefit as well, which will drive exceptional\nachievements,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Khofifah added that the provincial government has formally\ninaugurated the programme.<\/p>\n<p>She described the inauguration not as a mere ceremonial event but as\na reaffirmation of collective commitment that education is the top\npriority in building East Java\u2019s superior, character-driven, and\ncompetitive human resources.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis demonstrates the state\u2019s commitment to making the learning\nprocess more conducive and higher in quality,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>According to Governor Khofifah, education is a long-term endeavour\nwhose benefits may not be felt immediately but will be reaped by future\ngenerations.
