Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has\ndiscovered that seizure seals were allegedly damaged on several assets\nseized in connection with the alleged corruption case involving the\nmanagement of grant funds for community groups (pokmas) in the East Java\nProvincial Government for the 2019\u20132022 fiscal year.<\/p>\n
KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated in Jakarta on Friday that the\nanti-corruption agency discovered this after conducting physical\ninspections of several seized assets related to the East Java grant fund\ncase.<\/p>\n
Budi noted that the physical inspections were carried out on a house\nin Surabaya, East Java, and a sports arena in Pasuruan, East Java.<\/p>\n
He continued that both assets are linked to a member of the\nIndonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) and one of the suspects in\nthe case, Anwar Sadad.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring the activity, investigators found acts of vandalism and\nburning of the seizure signs that had been previously installed,\u201d said\nBudi.<\/p>\n
Previously, the KPK had named 21 suspects in the development of the\ninvestigation into the alleged East Java grant fund corruption.<\/p>\n
The development of the case is related to the sting operation (OTT)\nagainst the Deputy Chairman of the East Java DPRD 2019\u20132024, Sahat Tua\nSimanjuntak, in December 2022.<\/p>\n
On 2 October 2025, the KPK announced the identities of the 21\nsuspects in the case. However, on 16 December 2025, the KPK halted the\ninvestigation for one suspect due to his death, namely the Chairman of\nthe East Java DPRD for the 2019\u20132024 period, Kusnadi.<\/p>\n
