        "content": "<p>The East Java Provincial Government has added a water-bombing\nhelicopter to accelerate the handling of forest and land fires in the\nMount Bromo area, which have been ongoing for eight days. East Java\nRegional Secretary Adhy Karyono stated that the additional aircraft\ncomplements two helicopters from the National Disaster Management Agency\n(BNPB) that were previously deployed to support aerial firefighting\noperations. \u201cThe East Java Provincial Government is adding one Airbus\nhelicopter so that water-bombing operations can proceed more quickly,\u201d\nhe said. According to Adhy, two Airbus helicopters are now centred in\nthe Ranu Pani area to make the refuelling process more efficient\ncompared to returning to Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force Base. This measure\nis expected to increase the intensity of water drops while reducing\noperational constraints caused by weather. In addition to aerial\noperations, the provincial government is also strengthening ground\nfirefighting by deploying fire engines from several regions, including\nSurabaya, Probolinggo, and Pasuruan.
