Kevin had departed to work as\na crew member on a fishing vessel in July 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn 29 August 2026, Kevin contacted his family to report that he had\nsustained an injury to his leg and required medical treatment,\u201d said the\nChief of Tanjung Priok Port Police, AKBP Alrasyidin Fajri, on Tuesday\n(29\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Following that communication, the family found it difficult to reach\nKevin. Consequently, the family reported the loss of contact to the\npolice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn response to the report, police units conducted cross-regional\ncoordination. As a result of the investigation, Kevin was found to be\nunder the care of the Baubau Police in Southeast Sulawesi, after being\ndisembarked from a ship because he lacked a ticket and identification,\u201d\nhe stated.<\/p>\n<p>The police then worked to facilitate Kevin\u2019s return. Law enforcement\nin Baubau coordinated with the family and the Tanjung Priok Port Police\nto ensure the repatriation process proceeded smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter the coordination process, Kevin was sent via the KM\nDobonservolo from Baubau to Tanjung Priok Port,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin arrived at Tanjung Priok Port in the early hours of this\nmorning. The police accompanied him and escorted him to his residence in\nthe Cakung area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt approximately 03:10 WIB, Kevin finally arrived at home and\nreunited with his family in safety. This reunion marks the end of the\nfamily\u2019s period of anxiety caused by the loss of communication with\nKevin,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The family expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Tanjung\nPriok Port Police for the rapid response and assistance provided, which\nallowed Kevin to be reunited with his family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope the public does not hesitate to utilise the 110 Service when\npolice assistance is required.
