Jakarta, VIVA – The Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) has been
implicated in the alleged promotion of Whip Pink brand nitrous oxide
(N2O), which is currently being investigated by the Narcotics Criminal
Directorate of the Indonesian National Police (Bareskrim Polri).
However, the organisers of the electronic music festival have denied any
involvement in the promotion of the product that has recently come under
scrutiny.

This denial follows the DWP management’s attendance at a summons by
Bareskrim Polri investigators to provide clarification regarding the
appearance of the DWP name and logo in Whip Pink promotional materials
circulating on social media. David Ferdian, Director of Ismaya Live,
stated that his presence at Bareskrim was a form of support for the
ongoing investigation.

“The examination went smoothly and was fine. It was only brief, not
long. We provided clarification today to support our colleagues in the
investigators at the National Police Headquarters,” he said on Monday, 8
June 2026.

David admitted that the management was surprised to discover the DWP
name appearing in Whip Pink promotions. He noted that the management
only became aware of this when the Whip Pink case became a major public
discussion earlier this year. Upon discovering the promotional materials
featuring DWP, the management immediately requested that the posts be
removed.

“We only found out because the news regarding Whip Pink was quite
large in late January. We saw in the thread why DWP was there. That is
why we immediately issued a warning to them to take down the promo,” he
said.

Furthermore, David emphasised that the account spreading the
promotion did not belong to DWP. He also noted that the logo used in the
promotional material differed from the official logo used by the
organisers.

“This is also not our account. We also did not give any consent to
Whip Pink to use our logo. Furthermore, the logo used is not the correct
official one. Therefore, there is no connection whatsoever,” he
stated.

During the session, David also denied the circulation of Whip Pink
products within the DWP 2023 event area. He asserted that the security
systems and baggage inspections at the event entrances were extremely
strict, making it impossible for large gas canisters to pass through
into the venue.
",
