        "content": "<p>Duta Pertiwi's profit soars<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Duta Pertiwi, a property company listed on<br>\nthe Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX), yesterday reported a 326<br>\npercent increase in its net profit to Rp 81 billion (US$37.67<br>\nmillion) in 1994 from Rp 19 billion in 1993.<\/p>\n<p>According to the company's 1994 unaudited financial report,<br>\nthe company's before-tax profit rose 470 percent to Rp 120<br>\nbillion from Rp 21 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The increase in profits was partly the result of a significant<br>\nrise in the operational incomes coming from the sales in several<br>\nnew shopping facilities, including the Mangga Dua Mall, Mangga<br>\nDua Shopping Arcade, Mangga Dua Court and ITC Roxymas &amp; Roxymas<br>\nApartment, all in Jakarta, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>The company is currently building a number of large apartments<br>\nand shopping facilities, including the Fatmawati Mas, Cempaka<br>\nPutih Mas, Ambassador Kuningan and Mangga Dua Center (hen).<\/p>",
